1940s Swimsuit (Possible Late 1930s)
* Vibrant yellow and white satin rayon-blend fabric with unique dragon print design
* Adjustable straps - can be worn as a halter, criss-cross, or double straps - with a button at each side on inside back.
* Light wool lining at bust and panty, net lining at front waist giving it some elasticity
* High waisted satin shorts fully attached underneath swing skirt
* Darted bust
* No padding
* An amazing summer swimsuit! And if you’re feeling it, can also be worn as a cute playsuit given the skirt and shorts combo ❤︎
➾ MEASUREMENTS (taken flat)
Size Small/Petite
-bust: 16 in. (17 in. stretched)
-top of straps to bottom bust: 14 in.
-skirt waist: 17 in.
-skirt hips: 20 in.
-total length (top of shoulder straps to bottom of skirt): 28.5 in.
-shorts waist: 14 in.
-shorts hips: 16 in. (17 in. stretched) - for some perspective, it fit the widest point of my dress form which sits at 35 in. at the hips, although rather snugly.
-leg opening: 7.5 in. (stretches to 12 in.)
-total length (top of shoulder straps to bottom of shorts): 26.5 in.
➾ CONDITION - Near Excellent! A few incredibly minor flecks/spotting. The wool along the inside lining - at both bust and panty - have some moth nips. Some are larger than others. Can be darned in the future - not visible to others. In otherwise stellar, gorgeous condition!
